Yes, you can. However, we strongly recommend that you place a 30-50mm layer of hardwood chip or stone/aggregate on the ground prior, as this will help with drainage and protect the bottom edge of your bed.

Use this easy formula:

� Length (ft) x Width (ft) x Depth (ft) = Soil (cubic ft)

*Example: 6’ x 2’ x 1.5’ bed = 6x2x1.5 = 18 cubic ft *

1 cubic foot = 28.3 liters

So you need about 509.4 liters soil (18 x 28.3=509.4)
