The quality of the bed and the durability of coating are top notch! No sticky plastic to throw away and NO scratches. I bought 9 beds total and the garden looks amazing.
I could not be any happier with my choice of raised garden bed. I scoured the internet for some time before finding this company and here’s what sold me: the thickness of the metal, the layers of protective coating to protect the metal, the sturdy supports, and the rolled metal edges (no need for rubber edges!). The customer support was great and setting was very easy. Can’t wait to see how my garden flourishes!
So far so good, easy to put together. Gray color looks almost like a light blue gray color which is nice
Putting this together was fairly simple, though it did take a little time (probably around 30 to 45 minutes). I started out putting it together by myself, but it went much faster once my boyfriend started helping, since he could hold the screws in place while I twisted the wingnut (wing?). It also helped to have us both working since some of the pieces required a bit of tension in order to align some of the holes in the metal. Andddd it was just a little bit heavy and large for me to carry by myself. Once everything is assembled, make another pass to make sure all wingnuts are tight. Bonus: The metal is pretty good quality because I definitely hit it multiple times while trying to screw in the support rods. There are two different ways you can build this: 1) the 8x2 version, which I've done, and a version that's shorter in length but wider. So, definitely flexible with what size you need.Overall, I'm pretty freaking excited to start my first little garden, and I think once I landscape around it, it'll look intentional and (hopefully) gorgeous.
This is a planter bed that is absolutely built for a serious garden. It's a slightly higher price point but as soon as you get it, you get why. It is well worth it because it is top quality. I have 7 other metal raised beds and this one by far is the most heavy duty, it has the thickest metal, the only one with rust free screws and bolts and declared food safe compliance. The panels are evenly coated heavy duty steel. I love that they included cross rods to keep the shape and balance of the bed through time. It definitely feels durable and I would bet money on its lasting capabilities. It has sustainable packaging and thats always a win. I added mine to the bed as compost and filler when done. No film to peel saved time, no sharp edges and having spare parts included made putting it together easy. After some debate I chose the 4'x6' setup but I like that its versatile and can be made into the longer 2'x8' setup also. The moss green color is beautiful and calming. The only downside of this bed is the amount of soil you need to fill it up. But the 17" height makes it easier to garden if you have back or knee issues and is deep enough for root vegetables. No matter what you plan to grow this bed will work.I absolutely feel like this is one of the best options for a raised garden bed that I've seen amd experienced and I definitely whole heartedly recommend getting it.Review for: Annoell Galvanized Raised Garden Bed 8x2x1.5 ft, 17" Tall Planter Boxes Outdoor, Zn-Al-Mg Metal Raised Beds for Gardening Herb Fruit Vegetable, Modular Flower Bed for Outdoor Plants - Moss Green
I really like this Annoell raised garden planter. Assembly was straightforward, no instructions were even needed. All the holes lined up perfectly. Extra screws and wing nuts were provided in case some were lost in assembly, a good precaution. The wall segments are corrugated for strength and stability and did not warp when turning the segments to access the screw holes. The edges are not sharp, preventing cuts. The color, in my opinion, is quite attractive. The 6 x 2 x 1.5’ configuration holds about 16.7 cuft or 125 gal of planting mix. I have already planted spinach and lettuce for a Fall garden. This planter has no bottom, so if you are worried about burrowing animals or tree roots, equip the planter accordingly.
I have a large garden with several raised garden boxes, many of them are a similar design to this box. This box has some nice design upgrades, one being no annoying plastic film to remove. It also doesn't have the hard to install rubber trim, instead it has a smooth edge that won't cut or injure you. Assembly was relatively easy. I typically fasten all of the screws and butterfly nuts loosely, and then when everything is in place, we tighten them all with the drill and plyers for a fast way to finish. It worked perfectly and the stabilizer bars were super easy to install. The finish has a slight texture to it, which looks nice. Overall, very pleased with it.
First off, the panels are way nicer than I thought they would be. The finish is very nice. Feels very premium. Can be configured in different ways. The hardware felt a bit cheap but held up pretty good. They're just screws and wing-nuts. Came with plenty of extras too. I like that even the bag the hardware came in was compostable. I like when a company sticks to their mission. This garden bed looks great. Feels top quality. I'm excited for it to be a part of my yard.
Very solid bed. Galvanized steel material is great and there was no risk of being cut but any sharp edge on assembly. With 48 bolts and wing nuts it was a little tedious to put together but I would definitely recommend this product.
Perfect for the garden with limited space but works as part of larger setup also. Can be configured as 2x8 or 4x6. I prefer the 4 ft width, so went with the 4x6.Excellent packing WITHOUT the annoying film that I hate to have to remove. That stuff took hours on the last one I worked on and the paint was still scratched in multiple places. Not a single scratch on any of the panels with this product. The powder coating is very good quality. Should provide many years of corrosion protection, unlike the bare thin galvanized one that has only lasted 1 year before rusting though in a couple of places. The packing is good quality cardboard that also makes excellent ground cover for bottom of bed. No bent panels or bent corners. The edges don't have any sharp or pointed corners. This product does not provide the worthless pair of gloves found with other products. Any good pair of gardening gloves will work great, and since we all only buy our size, they also fit. I did NOT use any gloves and not a scratch during assembly, and I have very old thin skin. This setup uses shorter panels and the shorter length combined with the overlapped seams makes this one of the sturdiest containers I've assembled. The other feature that places this product far above the others is the center stiffener rods in this design are actually rods that have nut inserts on both ends instead of the cheap crushed tubing tabs that provide very little structural support. There are also plenty of spare parts, so dropping one, isn't a show stopper. The paint color (cream colored) is also very functional and should help cool the root systems during hot summer days.
I am so excited to put this together and use it in the spring for my herb garden. This galvanized raised garden bed is painted a beautiful organic green and is made from very thick, sturdy metal. All parts and pieces, including the screwdriver and the instructions, were easy to follow. I will be using it this fall and winter to mix compost and prepare to plant in the spring. The bed itself measures 6 ft x 2 ft x 1.5 ft, there’s plenty of room to vary your plants. I absolutely love the intentional structure that was put into this bed. The Eco-Safe Design that is Non-toxic, RoHS, and Prop 65–compliant materials for organic gardening. The paint is safe, and the stainless steel hardware is Food-grade, and coated edges prevent rust. Even the packaging is compostable.
